Jeff is a professor of movement at the Theatre School at DePaul University in Chicago. Previously, he was a continuing lecturer in the Department of Theater and Dance at UC Santa Barbara for nine years where he taught movement, acting, directing, stage combat, solo performance and devising.

MOVEMENT INSTRUCTOR for three-year BFA conservatory program. Seven movement courses per year for Sophomores (THTR 10A, 10B and 10C) Juniors (THTR 110A, 110B, and 110C) and Seniors (THTR 110D.) Progressive, three-year curriculum. Explorations include abstract movement improvisation, composition, rhythm studies, biomechanics, physical character work, movements of the natural world, full mask, half mask, puppetry, juggling, tumbling, acrobatics, yoga, tai-chi, red-nose clowning, physical comedy, solo and group movement projects. Mentor for one or two Senior Honors projects every year. Faculty advisor for Mask and Scroll, a student club that supports non-curricular theater events. Faculty advisor for UCSB Juggling Club, a student club that produces an annual International Juggling Festival on the UCSB Campus. All proceeds benefit the Santa Barbara Rape Crisis Center. I am highly involved in the production of this event that raises thousands of dollars every year.
